HOW TO START A CHAPTER
We
have
very
few
rules
we
ask
our
chapters
to
follow
per
se,
in
essence
and
we
will
spell
those
out
in
black
and
white
as
we
go
forward.
However,
we
expect
our
Chapter
Affiliations
to
follow
common
sense
and
be
self-aware
of
your
actions,
who
you
are,
your
standards
in
your
community,
be
aware
of
local
entities
that
surround
you
i.e.
1%
MC’s,
etc.
You
are
a
reflection
on
who
we
are
as
a
whole.
However,
one
specific
regulation
we
do
have
is
a
flying of colors, “We Do Not Allow the Flying of Colors, 2 or 3 PC Rockers that would align your Chapter as an MC” and not a Ryding Club.
If
you
are
interested
in
joining
a
chapter
when
one
starts
in
your
area,
you
can
notify
us
and
we
will
add
your
name
to
a
map,
showing
your
location.
If
you are willing to contact people and get a chapter organized yourself, we are eager to help. Read On ….
The
Spyder
Ryder
Organization
strives
to
make
starting
a
chapter
in
your
area
and
operating
your
own
chapter
as
easy
as
possible.
We
will
help
you
find
Ryders
in
your
area,
create
your
Facebook
page
and
so
much
more.
We
provide
each
New
Startup
Chapter
a
Packet
in
3
stages
to
help
you
in
your New Chapter formation.
Step 1: Announce Your Intent to Start A Chapter
Post
a
message
to
us
on
our
contact
page
to
let
us
know
you
are
interested
in
starting
a
chapter.
This
will
notify
us
and
we
can
help
Coordinate
with
you a future Chapter with Spyder Ryders.
Step 2: We can Create Your Facebook Group
A
Facebook
Group
is
the
easiest
way
for
your
club
to
communicate
with
potential
members
and
to
help
create
your
future
Chapter.
It’s
fast,
easy,
free
and provides an excellent way for new members to communicate between meetings.
Step 3: Contact Riders within your Area
Start
getting
the
word
out
in
your
area
that
you
are
starting
a
new
Spyder
Ryding
Group,
Word
of
mouth
will
spread
fast.
Don’t
be
afraid
to
post
on
your
local yard sale sites, Facebook marketplace, post a flyer at your local Spyder Shop.
Step 4: Meet Up
Get as many like-minded people to join your Facebook group as possible then set a place, time for everyone to meetup up. Set an agenda for your first
meeting. If you need help with an Agenda we can give you pointers or a format to go by.
Step 5: Become an Official Chapter
Once your club has decided to move forward with a chapter, agree on a name, have 3 potential officers and submit the following information to us.
•

•
Chapter’s City and State
